Hungry Howie's Pizza

Don't give these people your business. They're cheap and try to save money by using door dash which means you won't get your food. We've used door dash 6 times and 4 of those times we didn't get our food at all because the dasher stole it, and another time they took half our food. They have zero incentive to actually bring you your food since they'll only get paid like $15 where if they steal your food they get $50 of food for free. Doordash is only used by people to steal food and when they do steal your food, there's nothing you can do. You have to call corporate to get a refund while sitting on hold for 30 minutes and then it takes a week or more to get your money back, while the dasher can steal food again and again and again and it just gets logged as "lost" while they get free meals daily. Don't use any company that uses door dash for delivery. They're just too cheap to pay drivers good wages or pay for the insurance needed for them so they just outsource it to a company that has zero accountability for their employees.

Pizza tasted fine, once we got it, and warmed it up in the oven. That was over 2 hours after ordering. The site said an hour wait but the apathetic person on the phone said 2 hours. Who cares when your customer has already paid. Hungry Howie's uses Door Dash drivers to run their pizza which would be fine except that Door Dash is inconsistent. Our driver was pulled over for speeding so our food was cold. When we called the store, the person on the phone said, "I'm sure your food will be there when the driver finishes getting their ticket." There's that. If you're going to order it, just pick it up. We spent 90+ bucks on our cold late food so I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Buyer beware! Ruined our first night of our vacation. Would have been nice if we actually got the food! Ordered from their app the last 4 years when we’ve come here. Figured it’d be a long wait, ordering at 6:25, never getting food and not finding out they couldn’t produce anything until after 9pm was just beyond ridiculous! Email said an hour. I watched the app’s “tracking Howie” feature as I’ve done in the past. Went from “making” to “delivered” within seconds. Supposed to have 2 steps between that. So I called and was told they tried to deliver but would be back. I call back after 30 min. And was told they don’t know what happened but would remake my order and deliver. They than called me back and said they don’t have delivery drivers and door dash doesn’t deliver that far. At 9:15 I received a text from unknown person saying they got home and my order was at their door, which is 4 minutes from me! My name and number were in the receipt taped to the box so they were kind enough to call me. They said delivery driver was in front of their house shortly after 7 before they left and they told the driver it was the wrong address. Driver apparently didn’t speak good English and even after being told it was wrong still dropped my food at their door after they left! At this point my child is feeling sick because he’s hungry and all I got was a sorry here’s your refund and lies about not delivering to our address.

Hungry Howie’s Pizza was delivered to us last night after making a trip to the AWESOME Carolina Opry. Ordering was a breeze, it was great that they were open so late, and they were extremely friendly. Once the order was placed, I was told the arrival time would be 35-45 minutes from the end of the phone call…well, they were here within 20 minutes, I bet! We ordered the 3 Cheeser Pepperoni and it was delicious AND already had Parmesan sprinkled over the top, no skimping there. All in all, way better than the regular fast food pizza chains. One really nice thing is that Hungry Howie’s has so many crust options…too many to list here, but I did include many screenshots so you can see the crust options. Thank you, Hungry Hippo’s for the late night, fast service run!
